Where the flavours of East Bali come to the table.

Kepitu is the resort’s signature dining destination. An open-air bamboo pavilion that looks out over rice terraces, tropical gardens, the hills of Karangasem, and on clear evenings, the distant ocean. It seats 100 guests across indoor and outdoor settings, and it changes entirely depending on when you arrive.

In the morning, Kepitu nourishes. The Karangasem Heritage Breakfast brings the flavours this land has always woken up to. Jaje Bali, Laklak, Bubur Injin, local honey, and the daily pass-around of freshly prepared Loloh, Bali’s ancient herbal tonic, made table-side. This is not a breakfast buffet. It is a morning ritual.

By day, the kitchen turns to the culinary heritage of Karangasem. Traditional recipes, locally sourced produce, farm-to-table dishes rooted in centuries of cooking from this specific region of Bali. Every ingredient has a provenance. Every dish has a story the kitchen is ready to tell.

As the sun descends over the Karangasem hills, the restaurant transforms into an elegant celebration of the day. Exceptional cuisine, warm Balinese hospitality, and on selected nights, cultural performances that belong to this land and no other.

Once a week, Kepitu hosts Night in Karangasem. An immersive cultural dining experience built around the Megibung tradition: the Balinese practice of communal dining in which food is shared from one vessel, a ceremony of connection and gratitude. The menu features Sate Serapah, Nasi Sela, Pepes Ikan Marlin, Balinese storytelling, and live Rindik performance.
